Business Updates
How sourcing requirements, supplier readiness and shipping preparation connect.
From sourcing requirements to shipment preparation
GCI business discussions start with one clear requirements record: identify the product or cargo, then clarify the specific sourcing coordination and shipping tasks. The following describes the working approach, not a completed customer project.
A practical five-step process
1. Share requirements
Share product references, specifications, quantities, supplier details or cargo measurements, together with the Bangladesh destination.
2. Confirm scope
Identify sourcing, shipping or a combined requirement. Record inclusions, missing information and the relevant responsibilities.
3. Coordinate cargo
Clarify readiness, packaging, package count and markings with the supplier, and obtain receiving instructions before dispatch.
4. Arrange shipping
Discuss the actual shipping method, service scope and documents using the confirmed cargo information.
5. Follow progress
Use the same inquiry or shipment reference for follow-up, and record changes and any questions that require confirmation.
What to prepare for the team
For sourcing, provide the product use, essential specifications, quantities and acceptable alternatives. For ready cargo, provide the product description, package count, outer dimensions, gross weight, readiness and destination.
Prices and timing depend on the specific confirmed proposal. This page does not state general freight rates, fixed departures or unverified transit times.
